If you drive through the countryside in southern Germany, you can see them on every corner: tractors, combine harvesters, balers and all kinds of other giants that bear the name Fendt. Fendt is a family business from the Allgäu region that has blossomed into a veritable empire of agricultural machinery over the last 100 years. Today, the company is so successful that its vehicles are no longer only seen in Germany. Fendt has become a global competitor and has real cult status in the countryside.
Kaufbeuren is located in the heart of the Allgäu and is not only home to countless Fendt machines, but also to the Aktienbrauerei Kaufbeuren, which came up with an unconventional idea in view of the high density of tractors. Why not start an interdisciplinary collaboration with the legendary agricultural machinery manufacturer? No sooner said than done. The collaboration between Fendt and the Aktienbrauerei now includes five different beers.
Dieselross was the very first tractor from Fendt, so it was clear that this had to be the title of a brew. Dieselross Oil is an amber-gold Märzen that brings a smart 5.9% alcohol content and a malt-focused symphony with fine grain and caramel notes into the glass. The creation combines soft sweetness with gentle roasted aromas and a fresh hint of hops. Harmonious 22 bitter units round off the full-bodied drink harmoniously.
