In the Southern California city of Coronado, there is a brewery named after her hometown. Coronado Brewing Company is located on Orange Avenue, a street formerly lined with orange trees. When the citrus plants were still growing there, they filled the air with their sweet scent in spring and gave local residents their juicy fruits between November and March. The Coronado brewers didn’t want to accept this state of affairs, so they created a delicious monument to the oranges: Your Orange Ave. Not only does Wit bear the name of the street, it also tells of its botanical past.
