The northern lights have been the stuff of countless legends and stories since time immemorial. Like a mystical veil, they stretch across the gloomy night sky and emit a mysterious light. When certain conditions meet, the Northern Lights can be seen not only in Norway, Finland and Sweden, but also in Ireland. We do not know whether the brewers of the Irish brewery Rye River have ever seen the colorful lights in the night sky. However, we can say with certainty that the brewers dedicated a beer to the natural spectacle. Lupulos Borealis is a fresh beer that has been breathed in with an extra dose of hops.
Lupulos Borealis contains the Strata and Montueka hop varieties, which are reflected in both smell and taste. The beer flows into the glass in an almost clear gold tone and is adorned with a hand’s breadth of snow-white, fine-pored foam.
