Maukas is a refreshing pale ale that came about as a creative collaboration between the Lithuanian brewery Kuro Aparatūra and the SMaSH Brewing Project from Würzburg. The light brew offers a balanced taste experience that appeals to both discerning beer connoisseurs and occasional connoisseurs.
The Collaborationssud impresses with its carefully selected ingredients: Viennese malt, Cascade hops and English ale yeast combine to form a harmonious ensemble that brings out the characteristic aromas of the beer style. Visually, Maukas presents itself in a coppery shimmering grain gold with a delicate foam crown in broken white. Its scent is an enticing mix of citrus, honey, herbs, spices and oven-fresh biscuit — a perfect prelude to the sip! In terms of taste, the beer impresses with aromas of light grain, spicy yeast, pastries and fruity hops. A subtle bitterness and gentle sweetness round off the taste profile and make Maukas a fluffy, fluffy treat for every occasion.
Thanks to its light-footed body and dry character, the brew is an ideal thirst quencher and goes well with various dishes. We prefer a hearty burger with a lightly hopped beer. Fluffy sesame brioche, pink beef, tomatoes, pickles, grilled onions, a few slices of bacon, cheddar, lettuce, mustard and ketchup, plus homemade fries and a well-chilled pale ale? Heaven on earth!
