Sérgio and Patricia from Luxembourg traveled to Sweden for this beer. There they visited their friends from the Tempel Brygghus brewery and created a fine New England IPA.
Plague Mask is brewed with three different types of malt and has a tasty 6.4% alcohol content. The Swedish-Luxembourg beer specialty is presented in a finely shimmering gold tone in the glass and has a volatile crown of white foam on the delicately clouded body. A tempting scent of sun-ripened citrus fruits rises into the nose and combines with hints of pine resin and tropical fruit to form an irresistible mixture. The initial taste follows this magnificent prelude and caresses the palate and tongue with a wonderfully velvety mouthfeel. The malt used in abundance forms a soft base on which the hop aromas gradually blossom. A tangy variety of sour citrus fruits provide freshness, while notes of papaya, melon and mango create a tropical holiday flair. A pointed bitterness skillfully balances the fruity force and gives the beer its stately character.
You should definitely not be put off by the terrifying name of the plant from the Death Hop Brewery and the Brygghus Temple! This NEIPA is tasty, fruity, fresh and simply delicious.
