There is a new highlight in the handpicked range of the Bamberg label St. ERHARD®: After the first generation of fine brandies found huge sales, there is now a new series. The gourmet has the choice between a conventional beer brandy and one that has been cased.
For the barrel-aged version of the brandy, the finished distillate is filled into wooden barrels and matures there to its full glory. The storage takes place in former whiskey barrels of the Slyrs variety. The Schliersee whiskey distillery specializes in Bavarian whiskey and provides St. ERHARD® with its barrels for refining the beer brandy. The wooden barrels give the liquor a fine, spicy note of whiskey and the unmistakable aroma of the wooden barrel - a perfect complement to the malty taste of the beer brandy.
The fine drop from St. ERHARD® is the perfect companion for a special meal. It can be served as an aperitif at the beginning of the menu, as a wholesome in-between course or as a crowning finish to dessert. The beer brandy is also a great gift for beer fans and connoisseurs.
We recommend enjoying the beer brandy in a bulbous tasting glass - the full aroma of the noble drink unfolds in the resonance body.
St. ERHARD® stocks barrel-aged beer brandy in two sizes: 0.04 liters to try and 0.2 liters to share.
