Bavarian Nice Club Beer - lifestyle, tradition and modernity combined in one beer.
This beer was the beginning of Christian’s brewing career, his debut and an absolute hit. The Wheat Pale Ale impresses us with its stylish design and concentrated hop power. The beer was made according to the Bavarian brewing tradition on a wheat malt basis and was cold-hopped in a very modern way with the hop varieties Citra, Summit and Chinook. The hops conjure up a Mediterranean flair in the bottle and transport you straight to the sun-drenched, palm-lined beach promenades of the Cote d’Azur with just one sip.
Bavarian Nice flows into the glass in a naturally cloudy light gold and shines in the wonderfully rich color of sun-ripened grain. A fine layer of creamy, white foam crowns the beer and exudes a delicate, fruity scent. Sweet banana mixes with the feather-light aroma of tangy citrus fruits on the nose to create a tempting mixture. The initial taste reveals a slim beer with a mild texture and juicy fruitiness. A soft malt flavor forms the basis for the dancing hop notes: the delicate tongue tastes pink grapefruit, spicy pine resin and freshly picked thyme. A juicy hint of pineapple, a splash of citrus fruit and a little bit of nutmeg elegantly round off the aromatic play. The finish is crisply bitter and forms a crowning conclusion to this excellent beer.
