The Original Helle from Hanscraft presents itself in a glass with a fine shine and radiant gold. A stately crown befitting its status sits enthroned on the beer and tempts you to take the first sip with notes of fine malt, freshly mown grass, a hint of fruit and white pepper. The initial taste reveals a light-footed body with a range of the finest aromas. The malt makes its debut with a subtle sweetness, full-bodied notes of caramel and a touch of roasted grain. The hops contribute spicy aromas of cut herbs and tangy citrus fruits, and also give the beer a wonderfully pointed bitterness.
