It's one of those things with alternatives: even if they come really close to the first choice, they always sound like a bit of a compromise. However, an alternative does not always have to be the second or third choice, as the creative brewery Kehrwieder proves and also introduces a better word for it. Her Alsternative is a neologism from the flow of her hometown Hamburg and the alternative. Uncompromisingly good — that's what the brewers promise.
The reason for the Alsternative was a fundamental conflict in the modern beer scene. Purity Law or not Purity Law? It's a question that's dividing the brewing community and sparking heated debates. However, what bothers the brewers of the creative brewery from the Hanseatic city is the lack of debate about mixed beer drinks. Even die-hard advocates of the Purity Law have drinks in their range that are adulterated from beer and all sorts of artificial additives. That doesn't come into the bag for the creative brewery!
Out of protest and because they like to set a good example, the team came up with the alternative and gave the beer market a real alternative to mixed beer drinks with chemicals on the label. Your mixed beer drink is made from the alcohol-free classic Coconut Grove and KiuKiu. The alcohol-free cocktail base is made from cocoa fruit, acerola and pink pepper berries and harmonises wonderfully with the tropical-fruity flair of the beer.
100% natural, 100% delicious.
77.5% alcohol-free draft beer (water, barley malt, oat malt, hops, yeast)
22.5% fruit juice drink (water, fruit juice from the cocoa plant -Theobroma cacao L., carbonic acid, acerola puree, pink pepper berries)
