When October comes to an end, you can clearly feel the transition from autumn to winter some years ago. The time change brings early darkness and the first frosts hit the country. The last golden days are over and temperatures are dropping into the single digits. Strong winds shake the trees and blow the colorful leaves, acorns and chestnuts to the ground. It’s good that most breweries are already in the starting blocks and are serving us the first festival beers at the end of October. Wintertime is strong beer time and many breweries are treating us right now with brews that bring a little more warming revolutions to the table.
