In the long series of different beers in our range, HOPSTER is a very special specialty. It looks and smells like a beer, but it isn't! HOPSTER is a hop lemonade and, according to the proud manufacturer, the only one in the world.
Just like beer, HOPSTER also contains a lot of hops. The aromatic hop varieties Tradition, Taurus, Perle and Cascade are used for the tangy lemonade. In order to extract the full hop power and the finest flavor nuance from the hops, the essence of the fresh hop flowers is removed. Using gentle processes, the essential oil is extracted from the hops and then blended with the finest mineral water from Kondrauer's Gerwig spring. The minerals in the water ensure a wonderfully velvety mouthfeel and give the lemonade a full-bodied texture.
In terms of taste, HOPSTER impresses with its full hop aroma. Anyone expecting a consistently bitter lemonade will be surprised. Jonas Seidl, founder and brains behind HOPSTER, is a true hop artist and knows that there is much more to hops than just bitterness. With great skill he brings out the fine aromas from the hops and presents a range of aromas that extends from light-footed fruitiness to playful florality.
