With its range of different organic beers, the Neumarkter Lammsbräu has a good sense of the zeitgeist. Sustainability and environmental protection are more important than ever and the explosive nature of the climate crisis has now reached the general public. The brewery from Neumarkt has existed since 1628 and has been run by the Ehrnsperger family for the last 200 years. Instead of resting on the laurels of days long past and its centuries-old brewing history, the brewery team has made it its task to spread the word about organic beer in Germany. Years ago, Lammsbräu was one of the first breweries in the country to stop using conventionally grown raw materials and to completely switch over to organic production.
Their wide range of products includes fine classics, gluten-free brewed specialties and non-alcoholic beers. A favorite in the last category is the palatable dark. Thanks to a special brewing process, the creation is made like an alcoholic beer and has just as full-bodied and strong taste as such.
The copper-red delicacy enchants with sparkling carbon dioxide and a slender base. It smells of freshly roasted malt, delicately melting caramel and fine chocolate. The aroma follows this first impression and scores with toffee and a fine roasted character.
