Because enjoying beer means quality rather than quantity, the brewers at the Franconian brewery Rittmayer have come up with a treat for their customers: the brewery’s fine light country beer is now no longer only available in large bottles, but also in small, fine formats with 0, 33 liters capacity. Of course, there is also the small bottle with a swing top — the powerful pop! is definitely one of the beer pleasures and starts the fun with a loud bang.
In Bavaria and especially in Franconia, there is no distinction between a large and a small beer. If you order a beer in a tavern, in a pub, in a tavern, in a café or in a restaurant, the waiter will deliver a glass with half a liter of beer with absolute certainty. Elsewhere people ask first, in southern Germany there is no need to ask and a small glass would arouse indignation on the part of the guest. Because you don’t always feel thirsty for half a liter of beer, the Rittmayer brewery from Hallerndorf is now filling its tasty country beer in small, handy bottles. The cute beer snack for in between comes with the usual 4.9% alcohol content and inspires with fruity malt, a full-bodied mouthfeel and a hoppy finish.
Small but mighty!
