Although this wheat beer creation bears the number seven, it is one of the oldest brews at Schneider Weisse. The original has been brewed since the 19th century and the men and women behind the kettles still stick to the recipe from back then. The beer looks back on more than 150 years of brewing history and has become a real favorite in the Munich brewery’s range during this time. Georg I. Schneider was the forefather of the fine drop and brewed the specialty for the first time in 1872.
The unfiltered and unpasteurized beer is brewed with a fine selection of barley and wheat malt as well as the Hallertauer Tradition and Herkules hop varieties. After the white goes through open fermentation, a second fermentation takes place in the bottle. This process gives the beer its round, balanced character and intense aroma.
The classic flows into the glass in a cloudy amber gold and is adorned with a lush head of foam that smells of baked apple with clove and nutmeg. Of course, the traditional banana note should not be missing and runs like a yellow thread through smell and taste. Strong malt, gentle roasted aromas, tangy lemon and subtle yeast skilfully round off the drinking experience and make TAP7 a refreshing treat for every day.
