The Spalt Brewery is a true community effort: It belongs to the citizens of Spalt and, accordingly, must cater to a wide variety of tastes to satisfy everyone. Stefan Herz, a dedicated master brewer, is responsible for the brewing happiness of the Spalt residents. He has compiled a core range that covers a good portion of the spectrum of classic beers and is a source of pride for the whole of Spalt.

In such a selection, a traditional full-bodied beer is a must. Stefan's Helles Vollbier is brewed with Pilsner malt and refined with a generous amount of genuine Spalter hops. His version of the classic pours into the glass a sunny golden yellow, bearing a majestic crown of firm, dense foam on its crystal-clear body. The brew has a moderate 4.8% alcohol content and delights with an olfactory bouquet of gentle malt and robust hops. The first sip enchants the palate with a soft, caressing mouthfeel and a stable, yet restrained malt base.
