Berlin is a colorful place and if the people behind the BRLO label have their way, then that’s just the beginning. The spectrum of possibilities has multiplied in the last 50 years and there are a lot of people who stand up for equal rights for all and a peaceful coexistence of different ways of life and love. BRLO has dedicated a beer to these everyday heroes and the colorful world of queer love: Queer Beer is a lager that contains all the colors of the rainbow.

Queer beer does not flow into the glass in bright colors, but is presented in an enticing amber tone with a slight cloudiness and a proud crown of airy foam. A wonderfully fresh scent of floral hops, tangy citrus fruit, juicy, tropical fruit and sun-kissed grain. The first sip contains a whole world of taste, carried by a strong carbonic acid. Light malt and honey-sweet grain caress the palate before a wave of fruit floods the mouth. Passion fruit, melon, grapefruit, tangerine and lemon tickle the taste buds, the hops also add a floral note and a crisp bitterness. A spicy hint of yeast and a mild acidity round off the play of aromas. The finish is fruity and yet pleasantly dry.
