The makers of Øxymørøn describe their latest work as "Reasonably Absurd", a description that fits like a glove. The contradictory creation was created in collaboration with the brewers of Maltgarden from Poland and will confuse all your senses with its sinfully palatable character and enchanting taste.
Yankee & Krauts Øxymørøn is a Double Dry Hopped Double New England IPA and packs a whole lot of hops into the glass in addition to a whopping 8.2% ABV: The tightly woven aroma profile is made from a generous amount of the hop varieties HBC 630, Citra and Centennial in the Cryo- composed version. Two types of malt and a portion of oats also give the beer a soft mouthfeel, creamy texture and a stable stature.
The end result is a copper-gold beer with decent haze and an airy, white head. In addition to its wonderful appearance, the DDH DNEIPA scores with an intoxicating scent that brings light malt, green hops, tropical fruits and citrus fruit to the nose and arouses curiosity about the taste. The initial sip reveals a mildly bitter beer with the spicy aroma of freshly harvested hop cones. Grapefruit, orange, lemon and lime bring color into play, as well as a handful of tropical fruit that tastes of passion fruit, pineapple and peach. A dry finish concludes the beer enjoyment and makes you want the next can.
