Get Ready to Stumble is another hit from the Bone Hand series by Sudden Death Brewing. The masters of hops have again come up with a series that couldn’t be more hoppy. One hop bomb after another, Get Ready to Stumble is no exception. The Double Dry Hopped Pale Ale was filled with the Amarillo, Citra and Simcoe Cryo hops, and the brewers refined the beer with the Mosaic Incognito hops.
The result is a masterfully balanced beer with strong fruit notes and complementing aromas of pine resin and flowery hops. The hops-stuffed work of art flows into the glass in golden amber and is beautifully cloudy. A great bouquet of hops rises in the nose and tempts you to take the first sip. This is juicy, heavenly fruity and extremely light-footed. Only after a few sips does the hops strike: on the fruity base of passion fruit, grapefruit and citrus fruit, a veritable firework of hops explodes. Pine resin, floral and herbaceous hops bring a powerful bitterness with them that almost overlays the fruit towards the finish.
