Astrology is a subject where opinions differ. beer not.
In order not to step on the slippery slope, the Berlin brewery Fuerst Wiacek has therefore combined the controversy with the universally popular and brewed a beer that, although it has an astrological name, immediately soothes heated tempers with a heavenly aroma. Ascending Signs is a spacey India Pale Ale that was dry hopped with the aroma-intensive hop varieties Strata and Mosaic and was created in collaboration with the Estonian brewery Põhjala. In addition to the hops, the hand-picked types of malt contribute significantly to the taste and texture: barley, wheat and oats round off the hoppy beer harmoniously and give it a velvety-soft mouthfeel and an almost creamy structure.
If you pour Ascending Signs from its astrally designed can, it presents itself in a delicate cloudy corn yellow in the glass. A fleeting crown of airy white foam forms and releases a sunny scent of golden mango and other tropical fruits. The initial taste reveals a silky beer with a fruity character. Juicy notes of pineapple, melon and mango meet freshly mown grass and hints of a milkshake on the tongue. The bitterness remains discreetly in the background and only really turns up in the finish.
Heavenly!
