The Libertus Craft Brewing brewery from the Franconian Untererthal has specialized in beers that combine the classic art of brewing from their homeland with modern styles and recipes. Libertus stands for handcrafted craft beers with Franconian charm and a whole lot of hops.
For their latest work, the Libertus team has teamed up with the brewers from RavenKraft from Nuremberg. Both breweries share a passion for craft beer - and their Franconian homeland. So it’s not surprising that the Collaboration Brew is a craft beer with a Franconian touch.
FrankenRebell is a strong IPA with a whopping 7.2% alcohol content, which is brewed with the bitter hops Magnum and the aroma hops Simcoe, Amarillo, Centennial and Cascade. The hoppy five-folds contrast with three intense types of malt, which provide the hops with a stable basis. The IPA flows into the glass in dark amber and is adorned with a fabulous crown of thick, creamy foam. A scent of delicate caramel, exotic fruits, tangy citrus fruit and spicy herbs rises from the white splendor and invites you to take the first sip. The initial taste keeps what the fragrance promises and caresses the taste buds with tropical fruit, caramel malt, refreshing citrus notes and tart herbs. The full-bodied range of aromas is complemented by a crisp bitterness.
The FrankenRebell is a Franconian with character, substance and a whole truckload of taste!
