When summer is just reaching its zenith, people are looking to cool off in rivers, streams, swimming pools and lakes and the sun is shining with full force, beer fans are already one step ahead. The Oktoberfest is getting closer and the anticipation of beer tents, atmospheric music, confectionery shops, fairground rides, roast chicken and exuberant community at the Munich Wiesn is growing immeasurably.
Many breweries ring in the Oktoberfest season with a festival beer specially brewed for the occasion. Of course, this applies in particular to the breweries, who actually serve their creations in the beer tents on the Theresienwiese. One of these long-established institutions is Paulaner Munich, for example, which attracts countless visitors with its fine beer year after year. Their Oktoberfest beer is sold in bulk and is one of the most popular Oktoberfest specialties.
The seasonal beer has been brewed according to the same sophisticated recipe for more than 200 years and flows into the beer mug in the bright color of ripe grain. A crown of dense, thick, blossom-white foam adorns the beer and exudes a symphony of delicate hops and powerful malt. The first taste is wonderfully full-bodied and delights body and soul with 6.0% alcohol content and a malty body that tastes of oven-fresh bread, spicy yeast and roasted grain.
Enjoy!
