Sparkling water with a kick.
Hard Seltzer is one of the trends that have spilled over from the United States. The young company Holy Drinks is mainly responsible for this, as Robert Iken and his team were the very first to bring a range of Spiked Water onto the German market. Holy Drinks launched the four varieties Cucumber Lime, Lemon Ginger, Cranberry and Grapefruit, bringing the American hype to Germany.
Hard Seltzer is basically mineral water with alcohol and some flavor. In order to achieve this result, alcohol and aroma are not simply added, the Spiked Water is actually brewed. Similar to beer, the alcohol content in the Hard Seltzer is created through natural fermentation. The alcohol-containing product is mixed with natural flavors and is low in calories and gluten-free.
The grapefruit variety flows into the glass in the color of crystal clear water and has a fine tingling sensation. The tangy drink smells wonderfully of freshly squeezed grapefruit: fruity, sour, mildly sweet and wonderfully tart. In terms of taste, the Spiked Water follows the olfactory first impression on the foot and explodes on the tongue with pure grapefruit.
A summer pleasure that conjures up the summer in your glass, regardless of whether the sun is shining outside or snow is falling from the sky.
