Even if the beeches have long since been denied their proverbial protection from lightning, the native trees have a number of qualities. They are wonderfully suitable as shade donors on hot summer days, they give us delicious beechnuts and are also a great material for beautiful furniture. Matze and Rico vom Gehölz Bräu are also fans of the deciduous tree and have therefore dedicated a fine beer to it.
Your beech is a tasty light that is made exclusively with raw materials from controlled organic cultivation. The malt comes from Mellrichstadt von Rhön-Malz, the two types of hops are grown by the Eckert organic farm in Eckenthal.
The beech from Gehölz Bräu comes with a palatable 5.0% alcohol content and inspires with character: A velvety soft malt base meets spicy, fruity and resinous hops, a harmonious bitterness rounds off the aroma play. However, beer enjoyment is not all that Rico and Matze deliver: A tree is planted for every bottle of beer sold! The resourceful founders work together with the " Eden Reforestation Projects " and are responsible for reforestation of large areas in Asia, Africa and Central America. The Gehölz Bräu stands for sustainable consumption, ecological management, organic, pesticide-free cultivation and more trees and wants to make the world a better and greener place. And you are part of this great story!
