The logo of the Homburger brewery Karlsberg is a six-pointed star in navy blue with the brewery name in capital letters underneath. The figure in the star that appears to be riding on a wooden barrel is striking. The stylized brewmaster with the traditional wooden shoes on his feet and the long apron is not enthroned on the wooden vessel, however, he is transporting it. He rolls the heavy barrel filled with freshly brewed beer and looks extremely satisfied. The year the brewery was founded is divided into an 18 to the left of his body and a 78 to the right. Nevertheless, we have given him the affectionate nickname Barrel Rider and see in him the symbol of the joy and passion that lies in the brewing industry.
