An extra fine craft beer in the range of the capital brewery Flessa is their flowery ExtrAle. Brewed with a single hop variety, the ale enchants with floral notes and a generous dose of citrus power. This successful combination creates a refreshing beer that tastes great in summer and can put you in a relaxed holiday mood even in the depths of winter.
Flessas ExtrAle presents itself in a warm honey tone in the glass and shimmers copper red in the right light. A soft head of foam sits enthroned on the delicately cloudy gem and sends an enticing scent towards the nose: roasted malt meets subtle smoke and sweet caramel, a fine tartness, herbs and fruity hops are also mixed in. After this excellent first impression, the bar is set high for the initial drink and the extra tasty ale delivers. Roasted grain caresses the palate from the first drop, creamy toffee and spicy yeast join in. The hops contribute a whole range of different aromas, ranging from sour citrus fruit and bitter notes to juicy tropical fruit and meadow summer flowers. The grand finale tastes of freshly mown grass, sunny grain and sparkling grapefruit.
Thanks to its playful fruitiness and floral elements, ExtrAle goes wonderfully with light, Mediterranean dishes and desserts with fruit.
