The Warsteiner brewery from Sauerland looks back on more than 270 years of history. From the very beginning, it has been the Cramer family that has managed the company’s fortunes: Antonius Cramer is the founding father and nine generations later, his ancestor Catharina Kramer is at the helm. Good quality and the best taste have always been the top priority for the Warsteiner family, and that has not changed over the centuries. What has changed, however, is pretty much everything else. The location is the same, but the brewing facility, the brewhouse and the brewery have been enlarged, expanded and modernized. The range has grown significantly since the company was founded and reflects the demands of modern beer connoisseurs. The world-famous Pils has been a staple for more than 270 years.
Warsteiner’s Premium Pilsner has been part of the range from the very beginning and is accordingly fine: For centuries, the brewmasters have refined the recipe and to this day only the beer that exceeds the team’s expectations is bottled. Their tireless efforts are worthwhile. Not only is the Pilsener one of the brewery’s most popular beers, it has also won several awards and is also extremely popular abroad.
The Pilsener from Warstein is a refreshing brew with soft malt notes, straightforward Hallertau hops and a very delicate, fruity acidity.
