To enjoy their latest creation, the legendary American brewery has imagined the following scenario: It's oppressively hot outside, the blazing sun is burning from the pale blue sky, the last rain was weeks ago and all you can think of is a refreshing, wonderfully cold beer - and this brew, this savior in the bone-dry emergency is Cool Little Thing!
Although the heavily cloudy India Pale Ale is described as small in its title, it brings an impressive 7.5% alcohol content to the table. However, this is so cleverly woven into the taste that you hardly notice it. In addition to the powerful twists, the beer delivers a juicy variety of tropical and citrus-fresh flavor components as well as 32 excellently seasoned bitter units. The fruity explosion and the beautiful bitterness are thanks to four different types of hops. Comet, Crystal, El Dorado and Mosaic were treated with liquid nitrogen and enriched with lupulin, which intensifies their natural aroma and gives them the cool nickname Cryo. Sierra Nevada's Cool Little Thing is therefore really cool in more than one sense.
The sophisticated brew floods the nose and mouth with a juicy wave of exotic fruits, orange, mandarin, floral undertones, freshly mown grass and a hint of sponge cake. The crisp bitterness is the cherry on the beer cake.
