The Organic Chocolate Stout from Samuel Smith is a beer specialty that not only impresses with its excellent organically grown ingredients but also with its excellent taste.

Both the cocoa beans and the chocolate malt come from purely organic farming. The water is obtained from the brewery’s own well, which has been providing wonderfully hard brewing water since 1758. These fine ingredients are used to brew a creamy, smooth stout that is equal parts drinkable and luxurious.

Samuel Smith’s Organic Chocolate Stout flows into the glass in an opaque mahogany tone. The slightly tinted head of foam forms a wonderful contrast to the deep dark beer and at the same time exudes a voluminous scent of warm cocoa with cream, cinnamon and marshmallows. This fine smell is accompanied by notes of freshly brewed coffee and strongly roasted malt. The initial taste reveals a full-bodied beer with a wonderfully velvety mouthfeel and intense aromas. A soft, delicately melting chocolate note caresses the palate and is reminiscent of high-quality drinking chocolate. A fine, roasted coffee note adds a delicate acidity that perfectly balances the soft sweetness. The Organic Chocolate Stout delivers what it promises: Rich chocolate notes, aromas of delicately spicy cocoa powder and a deep, dark complexity that’s fun. The finish is cocoa-accented and stays on the tongue for a long time.
