A new banger in the range from Yorkshire's oldest brewery!
Samuel Smith is a traditional brewery that has been brewing excellent beers since 1758. For some time now there have not only been first-class beers from Samuel Smith, but also exclusive cider. The apple wine is made with organically grown ingredients and has a crisp apple flavor and a floral touch of apple blossom.
Samuel Smith's Organic Cider flows into the glass the color of sun-kissed straw and is crowned by a fine veil of white foam. Fine pearls rise tirelessly from the glass base and transport a clear, pure apple scent to the surface. The fine smell of ripe apples mixes in the nose with a delicate floral note that immediately makes you think of a blooming apple orchard. The initial taste reveals a light-footed drink with wonderful apple notes and a nice dryness. The sweet, fresh taste of a crisp apple caresses the palate, and a beautiful acidity accompanies the fruit explosion. In addition to the fruit acidity and sweetness, you can taste a slightly floral undertone that is reminiscent of delicate pink apple blossoms in spring. The drinking pleasure ends with a dry, crisp finish.
The cider tastes particularly good at a temperature of around seven degrees. We think this apple-heavy delicacy from Samuel Smith is a fine alternative to beer and particularly enjoy the fruity, tangy cider on hot summer days.
