One beer, one legend.
Over the course of their 40-year career, the world-famous rock band Motörhead has released countless songs that have gone down in music history. Their 22 studio albums have earned them countless awards and an international fan base. Hardly any band is as legendary as the guys around singer and songwriter Lemmy Kilminster.
To honor the great band and one of their biggest hits, the British brewery has dedicated a beer to them. Best of all, the Camerons brewers worked closely with the musicians to create a beer that perfectly captures the vibe of “Songs (We Are) The Road Crew.” The brewer-band collaboration has created an American Pale Ale brewed with four hop varieties Galena, Bramblong Cross, Hallertauer Mandarina Bavaria and Hüll Melon and is full of flavor. Fine citrus notes and the summery aroma of blackcurrants make the Pale Ale a real treat!
Röad Crew flows into the glass in a deep copper orange and forms a small, slightly tinted head of foam. A malty scent rises from the fine-pored, volatile foam. Light grains, freshly baked cookies and buttery caramel combine on the nose with a hint of hops. This brings a floral fruitiness of tangy citrus fruit, notes of blackcurrants and an aroma of freshly mown grass into play. The initial taste reveals a medium-weight body, to which lively carbon dioxide gives it a nice lightness. The taste follows the first impression straight away and presents notes of butter toffee, citrus, blackcurrant, floral hops and caramel malt. A subtle bitterness accompanies the play of aromas.
This beer is an absolute must for fans of the band and will also appeal to anyone who prefers to listen to something else.
