After Vocation Brewery's Altar'd State made a resounding impact, proving that big, bold IPAs perfectly capture the spirit of the times, the team immediately set to work creating another high-alcohol IPA brimming with character. Double Whammy is every bit as potent as its name suggests: a robust 8.7% ABV meets a tightly woven flavor profile, thanks to the Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops.

Double Whammy presents itself in an innocent lemon yellow in the glass, but its aroma already hints at what lies beneath the golden hue: an explosion of zesty citrus fruits and sour fizz tickles the nose and whets the appetite for a taste. The first sip floods the palate with tropical notes. Mango, lemon, blueberry, coconut, and lime combine to create a cocktail that tastes of summer, sunshine, and island vacations. The DIPA has a full body, a firm mouthfeel, and a fruity finish that lingers on the tongue. A soft, subtle bitterness underscores the fruity delight.
