The classic ginger beer served as the inspiration for this fine beer. This usually non-alcoholic soft drink is called "beer" because it is brewed like a real beer. Fermentation adds carbonic acid to the drink, and the ginger beer has the same delicate cloudiness as its namesake. The tangy ginger lemonade unfolds the full aroma of the hot root and is a wonderful thirst quencher on hot days. Tess and Do appreciate the specialty for that little tingling in the throat that the ginger produces and wanted to create a beer that comes as close as possible to the ginger beer. The two of them experimented, brewed, tasted and tinkered with over a period of almost three years until they achieved the desired result.
Tingling in the throat included.
According to its name Ginger Gold, the ginger beer flows into the glass in a glowing amber tone. The tangy ginger character is already noticeable in the nose: fine citrus notes meet spicy herbs and a touch of spiciness. The initial taste follows the first impression and refreshes the palate with clear ginger notes. Lemongrass combines with freshly cut herbs and the typical sharpness of ginger. The slim body and the sparkling carbon dioxide give the beer an elegant lightness. The finish tastes strongly of ginger and also presents a complementary bitterness that skillfully rounds off the beer enjoyment.
