Can with a small dent – contents perfectly fine
Even though summer, at its peak, with its hot, dry days, relentlessly scorching sun, and oppressive heat, can sometimes get on our nerves, we still miss it immediately when autumn arrives with its wet, cold gray. Suddenly, we long for the gentle breeze, the dazzling light, the endless days, the carefree ease of summer holidays, juicy watermelons, and the comforting warmth. The only thing that helps us combat the post-summer blues is the bock beer season, which atmospherically heralds the approaching autumn and winter. Especially in Franconia and Bavaria, the first bock beer is tapped in September in even the smallest village with its own brewery. This festive occasion marks the beginning of a period of heavier, richer, and stronger beers, which are very welcome in winter.
Two Chefs Brewing isn’t located in the typical latitudes for bock beer, but they still gladly participate in this fine tradition. Their answer to persistent rain, creeping damp, and bone-deep cold is their Bock Brûlée – a pastry bock with a warming 7.0% alcohol content and a flavor profile that soothes both body and soul.
The Bock Brûlée pours into the glass in the darkest shade of coffee, its enticing appearance completed by a crown of creamy, hazelnut-brown foam. Aroma and flavor shine with an intoxicating blend of gently roasted grains, exotic vanilla, and melt-in-the-mouth caramel – so delicious you’ll completely forget the drizzle outside!
