The classic Imperial Stout is a beast of a beer. It's based on a variety of malts with varying degrees of roasting, typically packs a punch of warming alcohol, and is full-bodied in both flavor and texture. The two chefs behind Two Chefs Brewing longed for just such a masterpiece of brewing artistry and simply brewed it themselves. Double Pull is an old-school Imperial Stout: majestic down to the last detail.
Following tradition, Double Pull delivers a powerful 12.0% ABV to the glass. This vibrant creation is brewed with an impressive nine different malt varieties. Chocolate malt and dark-roasted brown and black malts provide notes of melt-in-your-mouth chocolate, fine cocoa, and freshly brewed espresso, along with an intense roasted aroma. They are also responsible for the opaque coffee color and the hazelnut-brown head. Various crystal malts underscore the robust interplay of chocolate and mocha with creamy caramel notes and candied red fruits. The brew has a dense, heavy, and velvety-smooth body. The substantial 12.0% ABV rounds off this masterpiece with a fiery warmth that touches both body and soul.
Fans of chocolate and coffee in a beer glass will love this beer – and should be quick, because it is strictly limited!
