Frisky is an English word that means something like playful, exuberant, cheerful, or lively. The term is perfectly suited to describing the character of a puppy and expresses pure joy of life, boundless energy, and delightful lightness of touch. The VandeStreek brewery has chosen Frisky as the name for its latest creation, subtly embedding a bit of mischief in the title.
With their delicious Everyday New England IPA, the Dutch team encourages people not to take life so seriously. They encourage their customers to relax and indulge in a beer during the week, take a few secret sips before an unpleasant appointment, or sweeten a meeting with their mother-in-law with a beer. Responsible consumption, of course, remains paramount even with these small deviations from the norm.
Frisky pours into the glass with the lemon-yellow hue of a winter sun, adorned with a head of rich, white foam. The hop varieties Citra, Sabro, and Talus conjure an enticing aroma of exotic fruits and citrus, a delight that translates to the palate: tropical juiciness meets zesty citrus zest and a full-bodied, velvety smoothness, thanks to the barley, wheat, and oats. Frisky is a light and refreshing drink with a modest 4.4% alcohol content, offering a brief respite from life’s heaviness.
