Wine is an elementary part of the Italian culture of enjoyment and, in all its forms, goes extremely well with the cuisine of the Mediterranean country. In the ranking of the countries with the highest wine consumption per capita, Italy occupies third place and some of the best wines come from the sun-drenched wine-growing regions of the boot. Each region has its very own grape varieties and uses them to press local specialties. Located on the lower west coast of Italy, Campania is known for the pale Pallagrello grape variety. The fruits of this plant have a particularly low acidity and bring aromas of peach and apricot to the wine.
Or the beer.
The Birra Karma brewery comes from Campania and has set its mind on creating a regional beer. They capture the charm of their homeland through the generous use of Pallagrello grapes. With the help of their must, they conjure up an Italian Grape Ale that combines full-bodied malt with the fruity sweetness of the grapes. The exquisite brew pours into the glass in a shiny copper shade of brown and is crowned with firm, ivory-colored foam. Scent and taste deliver a harmony of white grapes, red fruit, dry, fruity acidity, soft sweetness and creamy malt. The beer is called CentesimAle and is a tasty treat with a warming 7.5% alcohol content, which we have in stock in large and small formats .
