The Steamworks Brewing Company hit the bull’s eye with their Hazy Pale Ale. The tasty beer with its wonderful taste not only impressed the regular customers of the brewery, but also the jurors of the BC Beer Awards. The hand-picked varieties of hops, which were imported from New Zealand especially for this beer, are responsible for the wide variety of flavors. The green gold was processed in a gentle way and delivers maximum taste with a pleasantly balanced bitterness.
The Hazy Pale Ale is presented in a warm peach shade in the glass and adorns itself with a white, fragrant head. On the nose, notes of oven-fresh biscuits and gently roasted malt are combined with the aroma of ripe, yellow stone fruits and a hint of grapefruit. The initial taste reveals a light-footed body that ensnares the palate with a beautiful balance of soft malt and fruity hop notes. The taste of crunchy bread crust meets peach, apricot and white grapes, some freshly mown grass and fine herbs round off the impression. Gen Finish is joined by an elegant bitterness that harmonizes wonderfully with the playful fruit and sweet malt.
