Blondie is a term that has many meanings behind it. The best-known is probably a band of the same name from the 70s, who started the New Wave movement in the USA with their rock music. The group around Debbie Harry filled concert halls all over the world between 1974 and 1983 and is now performing together again after a break of around 14 years. Blondie is also a common nickname for people with light hair color and the name of a dessert. Brownie and Blondie share the same texture and ingredients, although the light version of the pastry does not contain dark chocolate and cocoa.
Spanish brewery Musa has given the world another take on Blondie: their version is a pale golden ale with a blonde beauty on the label. The beer delivers a good balance between hops and malt, bringing floral hints, juicy citrus notes and soft grain to the tongue.
The design was penned by Bráulio Amado, who based his design on Roy Lichtenstein's Pop Art works. Just like his role model, Amado uses a simplified design language that is inspired by comics and is reminiscent of Andy Warhol's prints. The color scheme is striking thanks to the use of primary colors, the effect is enhanced by black contours and the graphic background.
