The regular Portermass from Pinta is a true delicacy in itself: A soft, creamy flavor profile caresses the palate with sensual notes of chocolate, coffee, caramel and candied dark fruits. The strong sweetness is rounded off by a harmonious bitterness.
But Pinta wouldn’t be Pinta if they didn’t go one step further. They’ve perfected their already fine portermass with a generous helping of cacao nibs, vanilla and cinnamon. The noble spices give the beer the finishing touch and make the porter an absolute treat.
The Portermass with cocoa nibs, vanilla and cinnamon flows into the glass just like its simpler colleague in a deep dark coffee brown. A potpourri of cocoa, roasted cereals, dark chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla rises from the nut-brown crown and makes it almost impossible not to taste the first sip right away. The first sip lies like a cozy blanket over the palate and tongue: the full 11.0% alcohol content warms body and soul, while the creamy texture caresses the mouth. The taste is made up of notes of milk chocolate, espresso, cocoa, pumpernickel and candied dark fruits. Vanilla, cinnamon and a strong bitterness harmoniously round off the play of aromas.
