The very first sip reveals why: pleasantly spicy, mild, full-bodied, and with a delicate malty sweetness that creeps in so charmingly you almost want to say "Servus" (a Bavarian greeting). This is complemented by a well-balanced hop bitterness that provides just the right contrast – strong enough to be intriguing, but never so dominant as to overpower.
