CANOE UR-PILS 1871 | KellerPILS 0.33l CANOE UR-PILS 1871 is a modern interpretation of the original Pilsner from 1842. German BARKE malt forms a bright and beautiful base for this beer. The finest aroma hops deliver floral, grassy aromas and a pronounced bitterness. The pure malt aromas, combined with smooth, rounded lager notes, are achieved through cool fermentation and a long, six-week cold lagering period. The result is a bright and beautiful Kellerpilsner that expresses floral aromas, enticing malt flavors, and a characterful finish. TASTING NOTES: Straw-yellow color, fine-pored white head. Pronounced hop aromas of fresh grass and spring flowers, with a hint of lemon peel. The light, crisp character of the main body is harmoniously complemented by the pleasant hop bitterness. FOOD PAIRING The CANOE UR-PILS 1871 harmonizes particularly well with spicy meat, seafood, eel, herring, sausages such as chorizo, andouille, merguez bacon
