At 9.2% ABV, it remains the alpha of the pack, but time and wood have tamed it. After maturation in a special oak cask previously used for Maker's Mark Bourbon and Speyside Single Malt, this Imperial Stout reveals itself to be even deeper and more complex. Warm notes of vanilla, caramel, and honey mingle with robust roasted aromas of dark chocolate and espresso. Subtle spice, fine oak, and a hint of smoke add depth and a long, smooth finish.
