Shipping through Vormann Brauerei
For over 100 years, the Hagen district of Haspe was dominated by heavy industry. Up to 7,000 employees produced wrought iron and steel products at the 3.5 km long "Hasper Hütte" ironworks. The yellow-brown clouds of smoke that once emanated from the Thomas converters and settled over the district were somewhat euphemistically called "Hasper Gold" by the locals. In 2017, we gave this name a new, more positive meaning: a naturally cloudy Pilsner beer, whose classic cold and slow fermentation gives it its hoppy, bitter, bottom-fermented character. Our label still commemorates the Hasper Hütte and thus one of the most important sites in Hagen's industrial history.
