May we introduce you to Mr. B? This elegant gentleman floats gracefully through the seven seas and conquers great distances with a single swing of his tail fin, which is covered in hop cones. His dignified character is based on a trio of fine grains, while four different hops provide his endearing characteristics. A decent 6.7% alcohol content gives him a certain seriousness, but we would describe his nature as playful, dreamy and extremely appealing.
Mr. B springs from the imagination of the Buddelship Brewery team and is not a mystical mythical creature, but a tasty New England IPA with one on the label. Behind the majestic whale is a symphony of the hop varieties Callista, Citra, Loral and Mosaic, which conjures up a whole storm of tropical and citrus-fresh flavor nuances in the glass. Mr. B presents itself in a delicately clouded honey gold and has a small crown on its opaque body. The exuberant fruit is accompanied by a hint of malt on the nose and promises a balanced beer experience. The first sip delivers exactly that: a base of creamy malt meets explosive notes of exotic fruit on the palate, lemony hints, spicy pine resin and a harmoniously balanced, strong bitterness.
We have rarely seen such a graceful creature as Mr. B!
