When people dedicate their lives to a passion, their work usually bears impressive results. The Hybrid Sequence Series brings together three such heart projects and connects people who are individually creative geniuses. This collaboration has created legendary teams and a whole range of absolutely unique beers.

We are talking about the breweries Freigeist Bierkultur and Stillwater Artisanal, who have brought a number of talented winemakers on board for their latest joint project. The craft brewers from Germany and America are known for their extraordinary and creative beers and have made a name for themselves in the business with their craftsmanship and daring flavors. Together with the winemakers, they have created a series of beer-wine hybrids, for each of which a wild ale is fermented with grapes from different grape varieties and then refined in oak barrels for two years. All beers appear in limited editions and are sold in elegant 0.75 l bottles.

The two craft brewers also worked together with brothers Daniel and Jonas from the Brand winery for the Hybrid Sequence 0.005. The hip winemakers have selected their finest Cabernet Franc grapes for the 5th hybrid. This dry grape variety enriches the beer with a powerful grape aroma, a fruity acidity and a hint of citrus. The barrel, in which the hybrid matured for two years, adds soft wood notes and an aromatic complexity.
