When people dedicate their lives to a passion, their work usually bears impressive results. The Hybrid Sequence Series brings together three such heart projects and connects people who are individually creative geniuses. This collaboration has created legendary teams and a whole range of absolutely unique beers.
We are talking about the breweries Freigeist Bierkultur and Stillwater Artisanal, who have brought a number of talented winemakers on board for their latest joint project. The craft brewers from Germany and America are known for their extraordinary and creative beers and have made a name for themselves in the business with their craftsmanship and daring flavors. Together with the winemakers, they have created a series of beer-wine hybrids, for each of which a wild ale is fermented with grapes from different grape varieties and then refined in oak barrels for two years. All beers appear in limited editions and are sold in elegant 0.75 l bottles.
The two brewers worked together with Matthias Gaul from Northern Palatinate for the last example in their series of fine beer-wine hybrids. The award-winning winemaker runs a real craft business and represents the fourth generation of winemakers in his family. He has selected a Scheurebe to refine the Wild Ale with the aroma of fine, white grapes and a touch of citrus fruits. The Hybrid Sequence 0.006 is a symphony of white wine aromas, delicate citrus fruit, soft wood notes and great acidity.
