Europe has countless dream destinations to offer and France is definitely one of them. We dream of the rugged Atlantic coast with its expansive sandy beaches, a walk and a glass of wine in Bordeaux, of fragrant lavender fields, oven-fresh croissants with a thousand buttery layers, of the illuminated Eiffel Tower at night, of the Louvre with all its treasures, of small country inns that cook with lots of love and even more butter, of cheese, champagne, luxury boutiques, chic beach promenades - and we would love to pack our suitcases right away.
The team at the Freigeist Bierkultur brewery is also a Francophile and channels its enthusiasm into a French-inspired beer. France Trance is a Pilsner with French charm and exquisite raw materials that were exported from France. The exquisite brew was created in collaboration with Demory Paris and combines the classic Pilsner with a handful of French hops.
France Trance has a pleasant 4.9% alcohol content and flows into the glass in the old gold color that is typical for a pilsner, with a delicate cloudiness, copper shimmer and an airy white head. The aroma and taste contain classic elements of a pilsner, with hints of freshly mown grass, floral hops and lemon peel, which have been combined with robust malt, straw and a hint of oven-fresh bread to create a tasty whole. Unusual and delicious - just like France!
