The full beer from the Grasser brewery is affectionately called "Huppi" (pronounced "Hubbi" in Franconia) by its fans. This nickname is derived from the location of the Huppendorf brewery and has become established because it is short and concise. The same applies to the beer with this nickname: The full beer from the Grasser family is a round, extremely drinkable brew that flows extremely well over the lips with a velvety soft mouthfeel.
The Franconian specialty flows into the glass in a warm shade of brown and shimmers golden when the light hits it. A lightly tinted crown of firm, dense-pored foam sits enthroned on the clear body and emits an enticing scent of ripe corn, yeast dough rising in the sun and sweet toffee. The flavor follows suit, delivering malt, oven-fresh grain bread, notes of honey and a delicate bitterness.
Because it is so delicious, the brewery recently decided to make it easier to enjoy together and no longer just sell their Huppi in bottles , but also in practical 5-litre kegs. This more generous format allows you to share the fine drop with your loved ones and also have the pleasure of a freshly tapped beer at home. The barrel is great for gatherings and will add a festive touch to any occasion.
