The star in the beer sky of the Bamberg brewery Keesmann is the Sternla: A Franconian lager as it is in the book.
The Keesmann Bräu is known for its down-to-earth beer creations, which are enjoyed far beyond the borders of Bamberg. After Pils, Bock and Hellem, a warehouse now completes the range. The dark beer delights with its fine bitter taste and tempts with its strong, copper-golden color and the magnificent crown of delicate foam as soon as it is poured into the glass. The lager presents itself olfactively with notes of freshly baked stone oven bread, roasted grain and a hint of grassy hops. The first taste reveals a full-bodied body with subtly balanced notes of hops and malt. The latter caresses the palate with a beautiful variety: roasted grain meets melt-in-the-mouth caramel, bread dough and a great flavor. The hops add a fresh fruitiness and also provide the crunchy bitterness, which the sweet malt cleverly balances.
Keesmanns Sternla is a down-to-earth, Franconian lager that, thanks to its well-rounded balance and solid taste, is wonderfully suitable as a beer for every day. It is easy to drink, tasty and refreshing.
