The wheat from the Krug-Bräu is a true classic: The Bavarian beer specialty is brewed according to the strict rules and specifications of the Purity Law and contains only hand-picked ingredients of excellent quality. The talented brewers of the traditional brewery combine hops, malt, yeast and water to create a wonderful beer creation that refreshes, quenches your thirst for beer and is so tasty that you can hardly stop after a bottle.
The fine droplet is called Breitenlesauer Weisse and comes in a strongly cloudy amber gold. A rich crown of lightly tinted, creamy foam sits enthroned on top and smells of freshly baked bread with grainy cereals and a generous layer of spicy blossom honey. Of course, the banana should not be missing either and complements the olfactory play of aromas with ripe notes and a complementary hint of cloves. The initial sip continues what the first impression promises: the wheat flatters the palate with a wonderfully velvety mouthfeel and tickles the taste buds with a sensual composition. Banana bread meets oven-fresh oatmeal, fruity yeast, warm spices and golden wheat. The beer strikes a skilful balance between soft sweetness and light-footed acidity. The lively carbon dioxide gives the beer a certain freshness and skilfully balances the creamy body.
